Frequently asked questions
Are emails sent without my consent?+
No. Every letter first waits for you as a draft. Only after you approve it does it go out – from your own Gmail, spaced out over time.
Can Jobmir read my emails?+
No. We only ask Google for permission to “send email on your behalf”. Your inbox, replies and contacts stay invisible to us. Replies from companies reach you as usual.
Where do the jobs come from?+
From the job board of the German Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit), the largest job database in Germany. We only show listings that include an application email address.
Does my CV have to be in German?+
German or English works best, because your CV is attached exactly as you upload it. The cover letter is always written in German.
Is this a recruitment agency?+
No. Jobmir is a tool: you choose the jobs, you read every letter and you approve the sending. We take no commission from employers or from you.
Can I delete my data?+
Yes, any time, with one click in your account. CV, profile, drafts and the Gmail connection are removed completely.
